MATANO LAKE

Lake Matano is different than the other lakes. The extent of the lake area reached 130 square kilometers is very unique and captivating. the deep not yet reached the 594 meter, crown Matano lake as one of the deepest lake in the world. Not surprising if some scientists suggested that the lake has become world heritage.In Lake Matano, there are many types of endemic flora and fauna that is still awake with the good. Flora and fauna is endemic organism that is only found in one place and not found in other places. Other interesting things from Lake Matano is the islands within it. In the coastal southeast, precisely in the area Otuno and Soluro there are some islands such as the slender Nuha (Nuha means the island is large and slender; Pulau Besar) and Nuha Le (Island of Alang-alang).
In the northwest coast, near the plantation residents called Bure ', there are 4 (four) other small islands, called by some people as the islands in Cats.
